Richard and Debi Larimore started Silverware Creations in 1998 in northwestern Illinois as a means to help pay for their 4 daughters’ college tuition. It was a family affair that turned into a full-time retirement job in 2010. It is a great way to travel the country, meet new people, and explore the unknown! The whole family: Richard, Debi, Bethany, Sarah, Rachel, and Janna have had some part in either the design, construction, or marketing of the items created and sold by Silverware Creations.
Our last show will be Bizarre Bazaar in Richmond VA December 5th - 8th. We are retiring in 2020. Thank you for your past support.
What’s next? We hope to sell the business but who knows. Probably will have some unsold inventory to sell on this website in 2020.
We love the uniqueness and quality of each of the pieces we craft. Each piece of flatware goes through an artistic recycling process. While the type of silverware dictates the creation we craft, each piece is meticulously cared for in the creation process. We use only the finest silverware from the 1970’s all the way back to the 1880’s! We hope that you find exactly what you are looking for in our online store. If not, please feel free to contact us! There are numerous other items and patterns that can not be listed in the limited space online.
We also love to creating custom pieces from your family silverware.
