Silverware Creations started as a way to help pay for college costs for the Larimore girls and has been a family affair based in Elizabeth, Illinois, USA, www.elizabeth-il.com. All of the family has had some part in either the design, construction, or marketing the items created and sold by Silverware Creations. All items are hand made in Elizabeth from flatware that has been purchased from flea markets, pattern matching services, or individuals, and is artisticly recycled. It starts as used flatware that needs a thorough cleaning by buffing and washing. The pattern and setting type (teaspoon vs. fork) determines what it can be made into.
